TELEHEALTH PARTNERSHIPS FOR EDUCATION

Healthcare Support for the People Who Make Learning Possible

Teachers, faculty, and staff give their time and attention to others every day. Alliance Functional Medicine helps Ohio schools, colleges, and universities explore convenient telehealth access designed around the people who support their communities.

CARE THAT FITS THE SCHOOL DAY

Finding Time for Care Shouldn’t Be Another Assignment

A healthcare appointment can be difficult to fit around classes, campus responsibilities, transportation routes, and the many demands of an academic day. For an appropriate health concern, a telehealth visit may give an employee a more convenient way to speak with a provider from a private location.

Alliance works with education leaders to explore access that respects employees’ time while keeping each person’s care private and personal.

• A convenient option for appropriate everyday concerns
• Access from home or another suitable private location
• Clear guidance when in-person care is needed
• A compassionate conversation with a healthcare provider

BUILT FOR THE WHOLE TEAM

Every Role Helps Education Move Forward

A partnership can be designed for a department, a campus, a district, or a broader employee group.

Program eligibility and included services are defined with each organization before launch.

Teachers & Faculty

Support the people leading classrooms, lectures, labs, and learning experiences.

Administrative & Office Staff

Make healthcare access easier to explore for the teams coordinating each school or campus day.

Transportation & Facilities Teams

Consider employees whose work schedules may make traditional appointment times difficult.

Food Service, Athletics & Other Staff

Include the many employees whose work supports students and the wider education community.

FLEXIBLE PROGRAM DESIGN

A Partnership Built Around Your Institution

A small school district and a multi-campus university may need different approaches. We start by learning about your employees, locations, goals, and resources before discussing a program structure.

Institution-Sponsored

Your institution covers the agreed cost of eligible services included in its program.

Employee-Paid

Your institution introduces the available service, and participating employees pay for their own care.

Shared-Cost

Your institution contributes toward an agreed portion of access or services while employees cover the remainder.

Pricing, eligibility, services, and payment terms are established during program planning.

Frequently Asked Questions on Partnerships

Who is an educational partnership designed for?

Our partnership discussions focus on healthcare access for faculty and staff, including teachers, administrators, transportation teams, facilities staff, and other employees. We can shape the program around the needs of your school district, college, or university.

Can we start with a small group?

Yes. We can discuss a pilot with one department, campus, or employee group before considering a broader program. The scope and timing would be agreed on together.

Who pays for the program?

We can explore institution-sponsored, employee-paid, or shared-cost options. Pricing and benefits depend on the program you choose and will be clearly outlined before launch.

Will our organization see employees’ medical information?

Employees’ personal health information is handled through their care relationship, not shared as part of routine employer reporting. We will discuss any proposed reporting and privacy requirements when designing the program.

Can every health concern be handled through telehealth?

No. Telehealth can be a convenient option for many concerns, but some situations require an in-person examination or urgent care. The appropriate next step depends on the individual’s needs.
